The Brand Leader recently announced the addition of Jamie Douglas to their growing staff.

Douglas comes to The Brand Leader with over 16 years of experience in the active lifestyle sector, particularly in the racquet sports industry. He began his career at the International Tennis Federation conducting product research and joined Dunlop Sports in 2007 to lead the product development of their tennis products. After being promoted to the Global Head of Product Development for the entire racket sports category, Dunlop was acquired by Sumitomo Rubber Industries, who promoted Douglas to Global Marketing Director.

“I’m delighted to be working with such talented and fine people as the account directors, designers, developers, and copywriters at The Brand Leader,” said Douglas, who relocated from the UK to his wife’s hometown of Greenville, SC in 2020. “Together, we all will be working to usher in the future of our collective clients’ needs for growth.”

Douglas will be spearheading our client’s brand needs to champion growth, their position in the marketplace, and, ultimately, to own market share in their industry. His track record of working with international brands and establishing a beachhead for them in the marketplace, while offering new product lines and brand positioning, is exactly why his role is a critical addition to the burgeoning team at The Brand Leader.
