Jamie Douglas

Jamie is British (and swears he never met David Beckham or Hugh Grant) and has more than 16 years of experience in the racket sports industry.

He began his career at the International Tennis Federation conducting product research and joined Dunlop Sports in 2007 to lead the product development of their tennis products.

After being promoted to the Global Head of Product Development for the entire racket sports category—an incredible feat—Dunlop was acquired by a Sumitomo Rubber Industries and Jamie was promoted to Global Marketing Director. In this role, he led the strategic global relaunch of the Dunlop racket sports brand and guided the creation and implementation of its new brand strategy, positioning, and identity on a global level—ensuring consistent and professional brand presentation and elevation across all touch-points.

In 2020, Jamie resigned from Dunlop to move with his wife Meredith to her home in Greenville, SC. He first reached out to The Brand Leader in February 2021, but unfortunately, the timing was off. He decided to follow his passion for craft beer and brewing and took an Assistant Brewer position at Pangaea Brewing Co.

Jamie enjoys home brewing, playing disc golf, cooking, playing guitar, hiking, and exploring new foods and brews with his wife around the Upstate and the world.


Jamie studied Archaeology at university with the aim of being the next Indiana Jones. Clearly that didn’t pan out. (But he still makes us call him "Indiana.")
