Katie is the agency’s marketing manager — promoting the agency itself, not our clients. She came to The Brand Leader with a background in starting and growing marketing departments for companies like ChartSpan and Green Cloud Technologies. Straight out of college, she was hired to run a start-up marketing department, which she eventually grew to include a team of nearly 50 employees. Fun fact: in that first role, she was tasked with starting (and then managing) a 40-person call center of outbound B2C sales associates. Katie’s experience of having a hand in all the pots of marketing, from brand management to design to marketing strategy, allows her to strategically position the agency to grow and better serve our clients.
She’s the mother of two-year-old Hagan, her pride and joy. She is also the proud dog mama to two rescue mutts, and she’s the self-proclaimed game night champion. Like Kyle and Ann Leigh, she loves cold IPAs, and “everything” bagels. Katie has an affinity for candles and fluffy blankets, probably because she’s always cold. When she’s not focused on work, you can find her at a local brewery or bingeing The Office on her couch (fluffy blanket and candles included).
Katie is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, which has required her to be a loyal Gamecock fan, even when it hurts. She grew up in a small town outside of Myrtle Beach, SC, but moved to Greenville almost nine years ago to follow her college sweetheart — who she then married.
